SCHUMANN Conference 2025 - MASTERCLASS

As part of the SCHUMANN Conference, we offer you the opportunity to take part in a exciting masterclass:

Trade credit: one policy - two sides

Trade credit insurance protects against the risk of a company’s default. The policy not only outlines commercial terms such as premiums and fees, but also specifies what is covered, the obligations of the policyholder, and the procedures to follow in case of a claim. Both the management and issuance of these policies can be quite complex. In this session, we’ll explore how to streamline this process or, alternatively, understand why certain complexities are essential.

AI in credit management

Your company has a wide range of meaningful information about your business partners - not all of which is obviously available. How can you discover and analyse the hidden potential of your data in credit risk management with the help of AI models? This is the topic of this masterclass.

Note: this masterclass will be held in German

Partner risk: More than just creditworthiness

In this workshop, we will work with you on how we can use the flexible questionnaire and the new DMN overall assessment in CAM to model and calculate individual sets of rules for assessing different aspects (e.g. KYC or a marketing score) of your business partners.

Note: this masterclass will be held in German

Financial statement analysis in transition

Financial statements are a key tool for assessing the creditworthiness of companies. However, their use has changed significantly due to new requirements for publication and availability. The classic, purely quantitative analysis is no longer sufficient - today, what counts is a holistic view of key company figures and economic relationships. How has balance sheet analysis developed in recent years? What new factors play a role? We will discuss these questions together with the participants.

Optimised surety processes for all parties involved

Sureties and guarantees are an essential means of creating trust between various stakeholders, particularly in the construction sector, but also in other industries. Requesting, issuing and managing these guarantees can be complex and time-consuming. Together with SCHUMANN customers from the Industry & Trade sector, insurers, MGAs and brokers, we want to discuss how this process can be improved.
