Sven Coels has more than 13 years of experience in credit insurance. As Senior Credit Underwriter his responsibilities included the extensive credit rating analysis of companies in Germany and abroad.

In recent years Sven was responsible for the credit rating and credit management of national and international key accounts with Atradius Kreditversicherung. This work included optimizing credit management, conducting credit audits, and managing portfolios. He also played a sales support role in the acquisition and implementation of new customers.

Thanks to his analytical skills and international experience Sven is excellently equipped to be able to support km credit consulting gmbh customers with issues relating to credit management.

Thomas Dietz has been working for Atradius Kreditversicherung for 25 years and is leading „Global“ in the region Germany, Central and Eastern Europe for the customer segment multinational customers.

After his graduate in business administration at the University of applied science in Cologne he started his professional career at Atradius Kreditversicherung as credit analyst and gained experience in several management positions within Risk Services for domestic and export risk portfolios.

In 2005 Thomas took over the lead of “Sales and Policy Management” for the countries Austria, Switzerland, Greece and Eastern Europe and in 2007 he headed up “Special Products” in Germany, Central and Eastern Europe until April 2013.

Carl E. Hoestermann joined Gracher Kredit- und Kautionsmakler GmbH & Co. KG in Trier. Here, alongside the co-managing director and company founder Alfons-Maria Gracher, he is responsible for the operational business and in particular the international activities as well as the international expansion of the group. Gracher is by far the leading German and European specialist broker in the field of surety insurance. The credit volume currently managed by Gracher is more than EUR 16 billion and is growing continuously by around EUR 1.5 billion every year.

The business activities are rounded off by further services, such as general corporate financing, debt advisory as well as factoring and leasing offers. Gracher has offices in Trier, Cologne, Bremen, Mannheim, Mainz, Amsterdam and Sofia. International cooperations, e.g. in the Surety Alliance, also enable Gracher to have a worldwide presence for its clients.

Previously, Carl E. Hoestermann worked as an interim manager for treasury and corporate finance on a freelance basis. In this capacity, he advised both medium-sized companies and corporate groups on all issues relating to treasury and corporate finance. In addition to advising on all financing topics, another focus was on pension and asset management. Mr Hoestermann previously ran the entire treasury and corporate finance activities of HOCHTIEF AG in Essen for almost 20 years. This included global responsibility for all financing topics, liquidity and cash management, collateral management and project financing. In addition, for 13 years he was operationally responsible for HOCHTIEF Pension Trust e.V., the financing vehicle for the HOCHTIEF Group's domestic pension liabilities. Prior to joining HOCHTIEF, Mr. Hoestermann spent almost 8 years at Deutsche Bank AG, the last 3 1/2 years as branch manager. Mr. Hoestermann studied law and is still admitted as a lawyer. Mike’s recent activities include being a director at Nexus Trade Credit, a consultant at Charles Taylor Adjusting, a director of a motor insurance MGA; providing advice to the Irish Government on credit insurance, and acting as Deputy Chair of the London Handel Festival (of classical music).

Patrice Luscan currently serves as Marketing & Innovation Director at Coface.

Coface is a reference in credit insurance, risk management and the global economy with 70 years of experience. In 2017, Coface employed ~4,100 people in 100 countries and registered turnover of €1.4 billion.

Patrice graduated from Reims Management School (now Neoma) and started his career in 1997 with Gerling Namur (now Atradius). He then joined a telecom service provider as Company Secretary, covering finance, personnel and general administration. He was back in credit insurance in 2003, joining Euler Hermes to launch their second generation of international offers. During the 9 years at EH he then served as Head of Product & Services and Marketing director of EH France, before switching to the new EH World Agency where he was managing the French desk. Patrice joined Coface in 2012 as Deputee Group organization director and Group marketing director a year later. From 2019 to 2021, he also served as President of ICISA (International Credit and Surety Association). His present role covers value propositions, client experience and innovation.

Patrice published a book (in French) about the current practice of credit management and possible innovations.

Georg Müller (54) has been managing director of abcfinance GmbH and abcbank GmbH since 2017. He is responsible for risk management leasing and factoring, human resources as well as legal and compliance.

Peter Mulroy

Peter Mulroy is Secretary General of FCI, the world’s largest network of receivables finance and factoring companies, with its headquarters in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Prior to joining FCI, Peter was previously Senior Vice President, International Regional Manager and Managing Director with CIT’s Trade Finance unit in the US, a $40+ Billion financial services company and one of FCI’s original founding members. Peter also served on the management committee of CIT, supporting the global growth strategy of the company. Peter came to CIT through the acquisition of the factoring unit of SunTrust Bank, where he developed their international factoring business.

Peter is a past Chairman of FCI, and has served on the FCI Executive Committee for over a decade. Peter also served as Chairman of the Prudential Risk Committee of the EUF.

He has worked and lived previously in Europe and the Middle East. Peter received his Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers University in New Jersey, studied at the Universität Konstanz in Germany, and his MBA from Thunderbird, School of Global Management in Arizona.

As Secretary General, Mr. Mulroy assists banks, regulators and governments from around the world in educating the role and introducing the concept of factoring, a facilitator of liquidity and mitigator of risk for SMEs and Corporates in both domestic and international trade. He addresses audiences from around the world on the subject of factoring and international trade and is generally regarded as an “ambassador for the receivables finance and factoring industry”.

After studying abroad, Markus Scherer worked for an international financial services company and advised InsurTechs and digital insurers on the implementation of credit rating and risk information. He then moved to R+V Versicherung AG in the division of credit insurance, where he was among other things responsible for the further development of the corporate customer portal as a product owner. Since 2019, he has been part of the cross-group founding team of R+V and VHV Versicherung, which founded Trustlog GmbH as part of their joint venture.

Felix Scholle

Appointed as Sales Director for Germany and Austria in January 2021, Felix Scholle oversees DVS’ Sales operations throughout all of Europe.

Starting his career at BayernLB’s Trade & Export Finance desk, Felix gained extensive first-hand experience of the entire Export and Trade Finance market, including Secondary market transactions, LC’s, and supplier’s and buyer’s credit (ECA-covered). Before joining DVS, Felix was a relationship manager at PB Firmenkunden AG and later formed part of the Rohde & Schwarz’s Treasury department. He was responsible for group-wide Trade Finance operations including credit risk management and guarantee management.

After gaining firsthand experience about trade finance from different perspectives, he concluded that it requires significant changes to compete in today’s world. This brought him to DVS, where he now strives for the complete digitization of guarantees.

Tobias Schorpp studied law at the University of Freiburg im Breisgau. He started his career as a syndicus at Knauf Marmorit GmbH, a company in the building materials industry.

In 2007, he moved to the headquarters of the Knauf Group in Iphofen. He worked there in the group's legal department. His main focus was the responsibility for the trademark and intellectual property rights of the group of companies. Further areas of activity were industrial property rights, contract law and liability law, for which Mr Schorpp worked for various companies in the group.

Since 2010, Mr Schorpp has been responsible for these areas in the companies of the Alexander Bürkle Group as Head of Legal and Credit Management. In the area of credit management, a highly efficient and successful risk management of bad debt risks was successfully established with a specialised team through the introduction of CAM, which is continuously developed and improved.

Erik is Senior Executive Advisor at EESPA, Advisor Finance Industry at Atradius Collections and Founder of WOA (World of Open Account). He is globally recognized as progressive leader in the receivables finance industry and an acknowledged expert in Association Management.

Erik was Secretary General of IFG (International Factors Group) from 2005 till 2015. He played a key role in the merger between IFG and FCI on 31/12/15. Post-merger Erik was Deputy Secretary General of FCI till end 2017.

He started his career in the factoring industry with International Factors Belgium where he held different management positions between 1982 and 2001. He was founder and chairman of the EUF (EU Federation for Factoring & Commercial Finance).

Quadrilingual Belgian, he holds a university degree in economics and followed a wide range of additional executive education programs in Belgium and in France (INSEAD). In March 2018 he received both the Life Time Achievement Award at the BCR RFIx conference and the Leadership in Receivables Finance Award at the Business Money Awards Dinner.

Martie is the Director of Global at Atradius, the world market leader in bespoke credit insurance solutions for multinational companies. The Global unit is represented across the Globe in almost 50 countries. Martie started her career at Atradius as a Risk Underwriter and built experience in commercial roles in the Netherlands and the USA. Upon returning to Amsterdam in 1999, Martie assumed Global Management positions before becoming Director of Global in 2011.

Martie’s primary ambition is to elevate standards at Atradius Global by managing her worldwide organisation by example. After completing a master’s degree in economics, Richard Wulff started his career in 1989 as trade credit insurance underwriting manager and reinsurance director of NCM (a precursor of Atradius) in his native country, the Netherlands. He founded a reinsurance captive for the company in Ireland prior to moving on to Munich Re in Germany.

At Munich Re, he managed the non-European credit, surety and political risk reinsurance department until 2008. He then moved to India to become chief underwriting officer of HDFC-ERGO Insurance Company in India, a general lines insurance business.

Richard subsequently became group general manager, heading up the world-wide credit lines at QBE Insurance in Australia, before moving to Hong Kong in that role.

He returned to Holland in 2017 to found RW Consulting, a consultancy company for trade credit insurance, surety and political risk (re)insurance. In February 2021, Richard joined the International Credit Insurance and Surety Association (ICISA), an association with which Richard has been actively involved throughout his career in trade credit insurance, surety and political risk insurance, where he currently holds the title of executive director.
