Award for Outstanding Promotion of Credit Management
The Göttingen-based software company SCHUMANN was presented with the Best Partner Award by the BvCM at the recent BvCM Congress in Düsseldorf. With this award, the association honored the company's many years of support, including the training of specialists to become CCMs (Certified Credit Managers) and numerous events and working groups.
There was a nice surprise at this year's congress of the Bundesverband Credit Management (BvCM) in October 2022. SCHUMANN, one of the leading software providers in credit risk management received the Best Partner Award and was thus honored for its long-standing commitment. "The name SCHUMANN simply belongs to the BvCM. We would like to thank them for their years of support in qualifying for the CCM and at the many events," said Andreas van Koeverden CCM, Vice Chairman of the BvCM at the presentation.
SCHUMANN as an Essential Part of the Industry
As one of the longest standing members of the BvCM, the company is a household name in the industry. SCHUMANN solutions are used by companies, banks, financial service providers and insurance companies. "The software is a key enabler for business growth. And the team is always close to the credit managers - a beacon example," as BvCM President Rudolf Keßler put it. In addition, the company regularly supports BvCM events such as the Congress as a partner.
For many years, shareholder and name giver, Prof. Dr. Matthias Schumann CCM from the University of Göttingen, has been involved in the BvCM board advisory committee and active as a speaker in the qualification for CCM. "Managing Director Dr. Martina Städtler-Schumann once again confirms that women are the better credit managers," added Jan Schneider-Maessen CCM, Executive Director of the BvCM, with a smile. She always has an open ear for the practical challenges of credit managers. That's why solutions are developed at SCHUMANN from a credit management perspective and not solely from an IT perspective, he said.
"We were very pleased to receive the award," explains Dr. Martina Städtler-Schuman. The company has existed on the market for exactly 25 years, driving the professionalization of credit management and digital transformation. "The BvCM is an important partner that does excellent work and we will of course continue to be involved," she emphasized. She thanked the more than 190 employees who work close to the customer and measure their success by customer satisfaction with commitment and passion.
